Yeshua – Mighty to Save

Welcome to The Oaks Community Church. We are glad you have chosen to worship with us. Today we are beginning a news sermon series called “Knowing God Through His Names.” Pastor Gary Barber is preaching on Joshua 1 and Matthew 1. His sermon is titled “Yeshua – Mighty to Save.”

Each week we will study one or more of the names of God as described in the Scriptures. Studying the names of God in the Bible will provide new insights into His nature, character, and love for us. This will help us develop a deeper understanding of who He is and how He relates to us in various aspects of our lives. His names serve as windows into His divine attributes and personality. Studying the names of God is not merely an academic exercise but a pathway to a richer, more intimate relationship with Him. In the weeks ahead, as we explore the various facets of His character revealed through His names, we will gain a deeper appreciation of His love, power, and faithfulness. This will strengthen our faith, enrich our worship, and enable us to experience God's love in a new and deeper way.
