The Process of Leading a Person to Jesus

1. What did you think of the sermon? Did anything stick out to you?
2. Have you been thinking about who you will invite to the friends and family service? What do you think about leading to someone to Jesus through friendship?
3. How can God use your personality to witness to others?
4. 5 stages of conversion - T (from distrust to trusting a Christian), H (from not hungry to hungry and curious), O (from closed to open to change), S (seeking after God), E (entering the Kingdom). What do you think about this process as it relates to our current society and culture? Did you go through a similar phase of conversion? Did God show you his reality at some point in your life prior to your own conversion? Have you thought about asking a seeker to ask for that?
5. How did Jesus lead the woman at the well to faith? What ways did Jesus break cultural rules? How did Jesus stir the woman? Break down the conversion based on T.H.O.S.E. process.
6. The woman at the well had a blockage of relationships. Jesus points this out for her. Pastor Gary called this a Jesus substitute. Do we have any “Jesus Substitutes” that are in our lives? If we do have them, how can we let them go?
7. End in Prayer for your FRANCES and think about who to invite to St. Patrick's day at The Oaks!
