Revelation 4:8 (NLT)

Each of these living beings had six wings, and their wings were covered all over with eyes, inside and out. Day after day and night after night they keep on saying,
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty - the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come.”

Life can make our problems feel enormous.

A difficult conversation, an unexpected bill, a disappointing diagnosis, or an uncertain future can consume our thoughts.

But Revelation 4 gives us a glimpse of something bigger.
Around God's throne, heavenly beings continually declare His holiness.

Their worship isn't centered on what is happening around them.

It's centered on who God is.

Sometimes the most important thing we can do in the middle of difficult circumstances is remember that God hasn't changed.

He is still holy. Still sovereign. Still worthy.

Worship doesn't always remove our problems, but it can change our perspective.

Heart Check

1. Have my circumstances become bigger in my thoughts than my understanding of God?
2. What truth about God's character do I need to remember today?

A Moment with Jesus
Holy God, lift my eyes beyond what I'm facing. Remind me that You are greater than anything happening around me. Amen.

Live It Out: Write down three attributes of God and thank Him for each one.
