Day 30 - Take My Life
1 Corinthians 10:31 (NLT)
So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 11:23–26 (NLT)
For I pass on to you what I received from the Lord himself. On the night when he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and said, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, he took the cup of wine after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood. Do this in remembrance of me as often as you drink it.” For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are announcing the Lord’s death until he comes again.
Thirty days ago, we began with a simple question.
Why were we created?
And throughout this journey, we've explored what it means to know God, love Him, trust Him, and respond to Him with our lives.
We've talked about surrender, humility, praise, Scripture, unity, confession, and obedience.
But here's the beautiful thing about worship.
It doesn't end when this devotional ends.
It continues tomorrow morning.
In the way you speak to your family.
In the way you respond when you're frustrated.
In the way you treat someone who disagrees with you.
In the way you handle disappointment, celebrate victories, and choose integrity.
First Corinthians 10:31 reminds us to do everything for the glory of God.
Everything.
And when Paul recounts the Lord's Supper in 1 Corinthians 11, he reminds believers to remember Jesus' sacrifice and proclaim His death until He comes.
Our lives of worship begin with what Jesus has already done for us.
We don't surrender ourselves to earn His love.
We surrender because He first loved us.
This is what it means to live a surrendered life.
Not a one-time emotional decision, but an ongoing response of worship.
There will be days when you get distracted.
Days when you struggle.
Days when you need to begin again.
And in those moments, remember that Jesus is still inviting you to follow Him.
You don't have to have everything figured out.
You simply need a heart willing to say yes.

A Moment With Jesus
Jesus, thank You for walking with me through this journey. Thank You for loving me, correcting me, strengthening me, and continually drawing me closer to You.
I don't want worship to be something I simply participate in. I want it to be the way I live.
Take my heart, my thoughts, my words, my gifts, my relationships, my plans, and my future.
Teach me to honor You in the quiet moments just as much as the visible ones.
Let my life reflect Your love.
Let my choices reveal Your character.
And let everything I do bring glory to Your name.
My life belongs to You.
So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

- What has God revealed to me about my heart over these 30 days?
- What is one change I want to carry into my everyday life moving forward?
