Day 25 -  Stop and Remember

Psalm 145:5 (NLT)

I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor
    and your wonderful miracles.

Life moves quickly.

We rush from one responsibility to another, thinking about what needs to happen next.

And in the middle of all that movement, we can forget to reflect on what God has already done.

Psalm 145 speaks of meditating on God's majestic and wonderful works.

Meditation requires us to slow down.

To remember.

To consider.

To allow truth to move beyond something we know intellectually and become something that shapes our hearts.

Sometimes spiritual growth doesn't require learning something new.

Sometimes it requires remembering what we've already learned about God.

Heart Check
  1. When was the last time I intentionally reflected on God's faithfulness?
  2. What has He taught me in the past that I need to remember today?

A Moment With Jesus
Father, slow my heart and help me remember Your goodness. Keep me from becoming so busy that I overlook Your work in my life. Amen.

Live It Out: Journal about a season when God carried you through something difficult.
