Day 23 - Nothing Left to Hide
Psalm 32:5 (NLT)
Finally, I confessed all my sins to you
and stopped trying to hide my guilt.
I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.”
And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.
We can become very good at hiding the parts of ourselves we'd rather nobody see.
Our mistakes. Our struggles. Our insecurities. Our disappointments.
Sometimes we even try to hide those things from God.
But confession isn't about informing God of something He doesn't already know.
It's about bringing our hearts into the light.
In Psalm 32, David describes acknowledging his sin and experiencing God's forgiveness.
There is freedom in honesty.
We don't have to pretend we're spiritually stronger than we are.
God meets us with grace when we come to Him in repentance.
Heart Check
A Moment With Jesus
Father, give me the courage to be honest with You. Forgive my sin, heal what needs healing, and teach me to walk in freedom. Amen.
Live It Out: Spend time in personal confession and thank God for His mercy.

Heart Check
- Is there something I've been avoiding bringing honestly before God?
- What keeps me from receiving His forgiveness and grace?
