Day 22 - The Power of Surrender

Psalm 95:6 (NLT)

"Come, let us worship and bow down.
Let us kneel before the Lord our maker"

Surrender isn't usually something we celebrate.

We like control. We like knowing what's next. We like feeling capable of handling whatever comes our way.

But Psalm 95 invites us to bow before the Lord, our Maker.
Bowing is a posture of humility.

It's a physical picture of a deeper spiritual reality: recognizing that God is greater than we are.

Surrender doesn't mean giving up hope.

It means placing our hope in Someone more trustworthy than ourselves.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can say to God is simply, "I trust You."

Even when we don't know what comes next.

Heart Check
  1. What am I trying to control that I need to surrender to God?
  2. Why is trusting Him difficult in this area?

A Moment With Jesus
Lord, I surrender my need to control everything. Teach me to trust Your wisdom and rest in Your faithfulness. Amen.

Live It Out: Kneel in prayer, if you're physically able, as a personal expression of surrender.
