May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Hebrews 12:28 (NLT)

When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, He told them to ask for God's will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

That's a remarkable prayer.

It invites us to desire God's ways in the middle of ordinary life.

In our homes. In our workplaces. In our relationships. In the decisions nobody else sees.

Hebrews reminds us that we are receiving an unshakable kingdom and calls us to worship God with reverence and awe.

We're not simply waiting for eternity to experience the reality of God's kingdom.

We're called to live under His reign right now.

And sometimes that begins with a very ordinary choice to love, forgive, serve, or obey.
