Day 11 - Behold the Lamb
Revelation 5:6–7 (NLT)
Then I saw a Lamb that looked as if it had been slaughtered, but it was now standing between the throne and the four living beings and among the twenty-four elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which represent the sevenfold Spirit of God that is sent out into every part of the earth. He stepped forward and took the scroll from the right hand of the one sitting on the throne.
The world often associates greatness with power, recognition, and control.
But when John sees Jesus in Revelation 5, He is revealed as the Lamb who was slain.
What a powerful picture.
The One who is worthy of heaven's worship is also the One who willingly sacrificed Himself for us.
Jesus doesn't simply tell us what love looks like.
He demonstrates it.
His greatness is inseparable from His sacrifice.
And when we begin to understand the depth of what Jesus has done, gratitude becomes more than a passing feeling.
It changes how we live.

A Moment With Jesus
Jesus, thank You for giving Yourself for me. Never let me become so familiar with the cross that I lose my wonder at Your love. Amen.
Live It Out: Read the account of Jesus' crucifixion in one of the Gospels and spend time thanking Him.

- When was the last time I intentionally reflected on Jesus' sacrifice?
- How should His example of sacrificial love influence the way I treat others?
