Day 10 - Worthy of It All
Revelation 5:11–12 (NLT)
Then I looked again, and I heard the voices of thousands and millions of angels around the throne and of the living beings and the elders. And they sang in a mighty chorus:
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered—
to receive power and riches
and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and blessing.”
We often celebrate people because of what they've done for us.
Someone helps us, encourages us, or shows up when we need them, and we respond with gratitude.
But God's worthiness goes far beyond what He does for us.
He is worthy because of who He is.
In Revelation 5, countless angels surround the throne and declare the worthiness of the Lamb who was slain.
Their praise reminds us that Jesus deserves honor and glory because of who He is and what He has accomplished through His sacrifice.
Our worship isn't dependent on whether life is going the way we hoped.
Even when prayers seem unanswered and circumstances remain difficult, Jesus is still worthy.
True worship grows deeper when we learn to honor Him not only for His blessings, but for His character and His saving work.

A Moment With Jesus
Jesus, You are worthy in every season. Teach me to worship You for who You are, not only for what You provide. Amen.
Live It Out: Thank Jesus today for something about His character rather than something He has given you.

Heart Check
- Does my worship change depending on how life is going?
- Can I praise Jesus for who He is even when I don't understand what He's doing?
