1. What did you enjoy from the service today? Worship - CR testimonies - Rivers
Retreat testimony - what stuck out to you?
2. In Ephesus - Paul teaches every day for 2 years about the Gospel. God wants us
to use our intellect. How is the Gospel intellectually important? How do we use
our minds in our faith?
3. In Ephesus there was the Occult/magic/superstitious activities. How is this similar
to our current culture? Why do people get involved in these things? What do
these forces ultimately do to us? In comparison, what is the promise of God
when we turn to Him? Have you been involved in these activities in the past?
Have you confessed that and turned from it?
4. Pastor Gary mentioned demonic forces in bakersfield - idols - mindless
materialism, castles, restaurants, etc. What have you seen as strongholds in
Bakersfield and Kern County? How have you asked God to help you resist these
areas?
5. Read Acts 19:18-20. The believers burned the scrolls. What do you need to
trash? What do you need to remove yourself from? What did the Holy Spirit
reveal to you during the quiet time?
6. End in prayer for your FRANCES and update your group about your BLESS
process.
