1.  Paul expresses joy while in prison. What does this teach us about the difference between joy and happiness? How have you experienced this in your own life?

2.  In verses 3–5, Paul is thankful for the Philippians’ “partnership in the gospel.” What does true partnership in God’s work look like today? How can our group live this out more intentionally?

3.  Verse 6 speaks about God completing the work He began in us. Where do you need to trust God more in your spiritual growth or circumstances right now?

4.  Paul says the believers are “partakers with me of grace” (v.7). What does it mean to share in both the struggles and blessings of ministry? How can we better support one another?

5.  In verse 8, Paul describes his deep affection for the church. How can we cultivate Christ-centered love and connection within our church and community?

6.  The sermon emphasized prayer, investment, and encouragement. Which of these stands out to you most this week, and what is one specific step you will take to apply it?

7.  End in prayer: Pray to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Pray for boldness and openness. Pray for your group to become a Spirit-filled community. Pray for other needs of the community. Pray for your FRANCES.
